In essence Spiritual development is an internal journey of self-discovery. It can take many different forms, but allows us to learn who we are, why we are that way, and also who we want to be.
It allows us to move beyond an identity based on what we have, what we do, our possessions, our role in the world and how others see us. It allows us to discover a deeper sense of self, a greater sense of inner peace and security, and contentment that does not depend on outside events, circumstances or people.
The journey involves challenging our current limits, questioning our existing beliefs and freeing ourselves from some of the fears that may have limited us previously. In doing so we become less needy of others approval, validation, and recognition, and become happier, healthier and whole within ourselves.
Many people also find that undertaking the Spiritual journey gives greater meaning, purpose and direction to their life.

Pilates builds strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine, rather than on bulking and shortening the muscles.
Pilates has a focus on the core, the area between your shoulders and your pelvis (without your arms and legs) and encompasses all the muscles within this area. The essential intrinsic core muscles are your Transverse Abdominus, Pelvic Floor and Multifidus muscles which we learn to train as part of the Pilates method.
Due to its core focus, Pilates is popular not only in the field of fitness but also in rehabilitation. It can be used to progress individuals through movements that represent their day-to-day activities. The focus on strengthening the core and improving postural awareness are especially well indicated for the alleviation and prevention of back, neck and joint pain.
